Central to the installation is a found American world map from 1995, which is accompanied by different smaller objects such as a small projection, a framed photograph and several books on a table. The work functions as a somewhat cryptic altar to the sea explorer Jacques Cousteau and his crew and emphasizes the late 20th century idea of the mythical explorer-conqueror who feeds the public's taste for wonder.
